In 2026, we have the pleasure of inviting Michael Christensen back to Belgium for a unique clown Masterclass.
Michael is, alongside Patch Adams, one of the founders and inspirers of the modern healthcare clown.
In 1986, he founded the Big Apple Circus Clown Care Unit in New-York, the very first official clown organisation in a hospital. Dr Stubs' inspiring stories travelled all over the world. In the years that followed, many new clown organisations saw the light of day. Thus, he inspired many generations of clowns that followed.
During this masterclass, he will take us to the essence of our profession, sharing his experience and insights through in-depth, playful exercises.
We are organising this masterclass as a benefit for our daughter organisation: With part of the proceeds, we make possible magical moments of light contact brought by De Zorgclowns & Co.
