ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

Join us for a transformative Butoh workshop with Mutsumi and Neiro, based on the teachings of Yoshito Ohno and Tatsumi Hijikata. In Butoh, the most important thing is to "give everything you have". Dance is born and vanishes in one moment, never to return. Only by giving your all can dance reach unrevealed possibilities. This is where Butoh begins—whether in choreography or improvisation, the key is to keep offering everything.

Each workshop is a "once in a lifetime experience." Through careful exploration of your body and the space around you, we’ll touch on themes like gravity, breath, space, and metamorphosis.  Dance becomes a part of cosmic genesis, where life and death, presence and absence, all merge. No prior experience is needed—just an open heart.
